First post from a new member! Anyone ever fish Laurel Run in Perry County? If so, what stretches are good to try? I've been up through that area for years but never tried fishing the stream
Thanks
Steve

scs,
Welcome to our online forum - we're glad to have yuh.

Laurel Run, like much of western Perry County, is worth exploring.

I have fished a Laurel Run in Perry County, but there may be multiples lol. I agree with Dave W. Throw lunch and water in a cooler, and spend a whole day exploring the area. A GPS isn't a bad idea as cell service is poor.

Thanks. I've thought quite a few times about hitting around Elk Hill Rd and working my way towards Shermans Creek. I was told years ago the stream was dead from too much acid, but others say there are still some brook trout in there.

Parking is great on Elk Hill at the bridge. I've only fished upstream from there, as it leaves the game lands a bit downstream, and I'm not sure of access.
