As a boy I fished this stretch of water from Laurel Creek Reservoir all the way upstream to 7 Mountains Scout Camp and spent most of my time in the Stillhouse Hollow Road area between the lower reaches of the camp and downstream to the second bridge. My data is 20+ years old, but it was always great short-cast, rhododendron-covered fly fishing for native brookies. Does anyone have more recent experience, and if so is the fishing still good?

I'm thinking of trying some fishing there this Saturday, maybe from about 9AM - 3PM before I go to an event at the camp. Does anyone in the area care to join me?

I'd say it's been 10 to 12 years since the only time I fished it. It was low and clear not good conditions for productive day, and I didn't have 1. It was nice, but pretty small. Even caught a couple of browns.
