I finally pulled the trigger on a inflatable framed two-man craft. for the veterans out there... any tips on coordinating drop off and pick up? Some things are obvious (take gear with you), but I imagine there are better ways of doing things not obvious to a newbie. For example, do you take measures to keep it from "walking away" when leaving the boat at the launch point while dropping the vehicle off at the take out point (shuttling activities). Is theft or vandalism a significant concern? I will mostly be fishing the Big J. Not exactly crime central but....
Thanks all

You'll be fine. Rig up before you back down to the ramp. Slide it off and with a Painter line tow it to the dock and tie it off. Go park, go fish, tell us about it. I do this with a 12' drift boat at Gouldsboro. You meet one nice fishermen at the latches and sometimes get great tips about flies , lures and locations. Avoid the non fishermen.
