By the way, I really like that caddis at the top. Could be taken as a pheasant tail or cased caddis. I can probably guess, but care to share the recipe...
 
Sure, the one on the left is made from pheasant tail, the one on the right is from turkey tail.

Hook: 2xl #14
Thread: black 8/0
Body: pheasant or turkey
Rib: black thread
Collar: green dubbing
Legs: pheasant or turkey
Bead: 3mm black bead

I tie in the thread leaving about a 3" tag at the bend of the hook which I used for the ribbing. Before I tied in any of the materials I built up a taper for the body.

What do you call the 2nd one - looks like a pink maggot sucking leech to me.. I like the idea - looks like a steelhead killer . Very nice ties. Tight lines.
 
I told my 5 yr old that it was a worm eating minnow. A friend of mine saw it and called it the HSL (Hemmorage sucking leech). I haven't really decided what to call it yet. Gotta see if it works at all. :)
