Tied these up last night/ early this morning for green drake nymphs. I think they turned out nice. I was using the insect pic as a reference. I think I may put them back on the vise and pick out some dubbing for gills. I stopped tying at 2:30am and was about dead so they were put on hold. The last picture shows my new desk set up just slammed and left for dead, as I was too tired to worry about cleaning it up. I guess when your wife kicks your tying out of the house, it can have its benefits. ill be taking some pics as I get my fly tying man cave work in progress complete. WIll be cool to see my shed transform.
I still consider my self a more suggestive type tyer than realistic, but I think these will pass. They are tied on size 8 DAIICH swimming nymph hooks I bought for Stone flies.
