I'm camping at Kettle Creek State Park in early September. I've never been up this time of year and was wondering if Kettle Creek would be fishable for trout near the park. I'll only have a limited time to fish in the mornings, so I'm just looking for some info. If it's not fishable for trout, I have no problem fishing the lake for bass.

This year I bet it will be fishable. Won't guaranty you but there's a good chance you'll be finding trout and not just at the mouths of the cooler streams. Kettle is running at 122 on the stream gauge which is almost unheard of this time of year.

That's good, I prefer to trout fish but I don't have the time to head to far from the park as I'll only have a couple of hours in the morning.
