kettle creek access

Heading up to my buddys cabin for spring turkey in clinton county. However fishing is more on our minds. Were going to kettle creek in the hammersly fork / cross fork area. If anyone can tell us a good starting point or a good place to park that would be awesome.
 
It's one of the most user friendly streams in the state IMO. Most of it runs along state forest or park land. With very little - if any - posted land.
A good starting point would be the leidy bridge area, which is just above the lake.

 
i agree with leidy.. lots of trout that by saturday will be willing on top.. hendrickson is on right now
 
There is a nice stretch north of there but south of the special regs. area, where there was a bunch of stream improvement structures placed. You can easily see them while driving. Plenty of access and good fishing last time I was up that way.
