Pupa, body being something in the nature of a Antron "yarn" type material twisted into a rope possibly a mono rib to improve segmentation. Aunt Lydia's yarn comes to mind... See how it's much smaller in diameter at the tie in point than at the thorax? To do this hold a piece of the yarn in one hand then with the other gently pull at the end of it gradually fibers will begin to pull out when you've obtained a nice taper tie in twist and if done correctly you'll end up with a nice taper as shown in your pic.

Yep - a caddis pupa.

Caddis pupa often, but not always, have this green body. If not green, they are usually a brown or tan color.
