This will most likely be for SandFly...Does anyone know the pattern for the hummburg/hummberg fly?

Never heard of a hummburg. Sure you don't mean a hornberg?

need a little more info, wet, dry, nymph ??

found;
humdinger, in a dry or streamer
then there's the different versions of the Hornberg's
Humboldt Railbird bucktail

Whats the Humboldt look like Sand , i almost went out there to meet some indin gal , she was from the Hoopa tribe , they own a big chunk of Humboldt county.the trinity and a few other streams run through the res.

railbird;
head--black
tail--amherst phea. crest feather, very long
body--- claret wool thin, palmered claret hackle webby and long
throat--- yellow hackle tied as a collar, heavly dressed as long as the claret hackle
wing--- small bunch of grey fox tail, very long extending past tail..
cheeks--- jungle ****, dressed high and long
hook---heavy #1 hook short shank

Thanks Sand , gonna tie a couple up and send em to her , she fishes the trinity for steelhead , i think the native americans are still allowedto spear them cause she sent these pictures of weirs (WING DAMS)which is where she fishes , she's gettin 30" steelhead regular.

There is a picture of the Railbird in Streamer Fly Tying and Fishing by Joseph Bates. If you don't have a copy I can send you a PDF if you want.
