Been tying some klinkhammer sulfurs and rusty spinners but the parachute seem to have more hackle on one portion more than the other.
As always thank you for any and all advice.

if the hackle is wrapped 360° around the post how can there be more on one side than another?

Trapped under the tying thread.

Tension on the hackle while wrapping.

Like MKern said it is usually about trapping fibers while tying off.

You can maneuver many of the hackle fibers with your fingers to make it more even.
