History of PA Brook Trout

I am looking for any literature on the history of brook trout in Pennsylvania or just history of the Eastern brook trout in general.

Vanishing Trout by Charles Lose, for PA.

Kind of an expensive book, but you can get a copy to read from your public library through inter-library loan.

Also Brook Trout, by Nick Karas, for their whole range.

In addition to Lose, you will want to read Brook Trout by Nick Karas. This is the best history of brookies and fishing for 'em.
