Help With Using Shelf Material to Tie Ants

I am trying to recall how to cut the shelf material to tie ants. See attached. I assume I cut the material on an angle which will give it legs? Any help is appreciated.

Gene, you have the wrong kind to do what you want. There is another with a different pattern that works for that. When I get home I'll get a pic of it for ya unless someone else does first.
