Seemed things were going to hatch early in February and March but a chilly and rainy April and now a cold blast in May would seem to have things on schedule.

Hope it continues to be steady and not all blow off at once.

Know some streams have their temperatures drop 10 degrees in the last 10 days.

Not much rain and warmer temperatures looking good for next week.

Yeah, a tough one to call this year. Wouldn't surprise me if we see some hatches a bit on the late side due to the cold spring patterns lately.

How were the grannoms, tan caddis, and hendricksons this year? Did they come off when folks expected?

Olives seemed to have been on time (still hatching). Grannom too but for me didn’t fish it as much cause of high water or crappy weather.

Never seem to catch Hendrickson or Quill Gordon’s or Blue Quills very well.

Honestly, the best hatch was/is crane flies for me and olives so far with a good pulse of sulphers for an hour or two.
