Hardy sintrix Proaxis 9wt line match up?

Hi guys I picked up a Hardy Proaxis 9wt rod and I need a fly line. The rod is going to be used for salmon,steelhead and stripers. I think the first line will be a floating wf type,but if you have a favorite intermediate I would like to know also.. what line do you guys recommend type,grains,color?

If you call Rio's tech department, tell them what rod you have , what type of fishing you will be doing and they can make abline recommendation. They know their stuff. For your floating line, have you looked at an Rio outbound?

The Proaxis is designed to be fished with a saltwater line, so I'd be looking in the 3-400gr window. If you're fishing the 4-piece, I'd go for a little heavier line (at least a 350gr) since it's a pretty fast rod.

I figured Rio would say 'outbound short' but I'm not familiar enough to make a suggestion.
