Saw a 70's Al Troth catalog and one of the recommended wet flies for the east was the Happy Hooker. Since the other Eastern wet flies are old school PA flies like Red #censor# Kelso, Uncle Phil, and Gray Muskrat (aka Big Ugly, too many flies named Muskrat) I thought maybe the Happy Hooker was a PA fly as well and someone here would know it.

The picture looks look a peacock herl butt, a floss body with a rib and a partridge hackle. It is a B&W catalog, so I have no ideas about colors.

Try e-mailing Don Bastian or Don Baylor, whom should be locatable via the Interweb. Both are experts on classic wet flies and Pennsylvanians and may have some insight.

Thanks, I didn't think of that
