Where do you get bobbins for tying with Gossamer Silk? I guess one could bend/shape a regular bobbin to fit. Do you buy or bend?

I bought a standard dr slick eco bobbin and adjusted it to fit. Which means I didnt bend it at all. No need for anything special except that the bobbin is now just for the silk thread.

use what you already have on hand. put a piece of dowel inside the bobbins and tie away

I use a mattarelli midge bobbin holder and also a regular sized bobbin holder that I bent the arms inward on.

Another great idea. Norm is like the MacGyver of fly tying.

Thanks all for the information. Currently, I have a dowel in place. Pretty slick deal.

I usually use the two spool trick. You could also spin the thread onto an regular sized empty spool.
