I recently found this pattern on Charliesflybox.com and thought it looked pretty cool. It's tied with an ice dub body, marabou tail, and craft fur as the over wing, which is barred with a permanent marker. I really like the white/grey olive combination, but I can imagine lots more. In addition to the orange and olive one, I recently tied some with a layer of red craft fur underneath the olive over wing, and also included a bit of red ice dub in a couple others to simulate a gill or something.

Caught this bass and several others, as well as a pretty fat sunnies on the olive and white fly in the picture.

Good looking fly. Obviously, the fish agree, and that's all that matters.

Not too different from a pattern I tie and use called the "Redneck Rabbit". Here's a pdf pattern sheet:

You have impressed the fish which is what we as tyers strive to accomplish. You've done a nice job with those flies as the proof is in the pudding and you've got a bowl full. Well done.

Thanks for sharing; the Gizmo is a cool-looking pattern.
