I remember seeing a post here where someone mentioned that you could by a life time supply of gink at the Drug Store. It was a hand cream i believe.

Anyone remember the name of the product ?

Thanks

Bruno

Albolene imo is better than the gink. I found it at CVS for 10 bucks. I used it last night and found it to work very very well.

Do you just fill a little gink style bottle with the stuff?

Is it a liquid? I might have to get some.

It is like a cream, but will turn to a liquid when warm. Get something with a screw on lid. I am using a McCormick spice bottle right now.

Interesting, Thanks.
I've never heard of that being used for floatant.
I'll have to give it a try.
Plus, it will keep my skin soft and young looking for the lady flyfishers.
An added bonus..

Ohio,

Its consistency is "ginky." I refill my gink bottle with it, and it works very nicely.

Now I just need to pick up some of that industrial Frog's Fanny for my cdc flies.

In case this isn't obvious, you can put the cream container in a bowl of hot water to liquify it so it will pour easily into your old floatant bottles.
