I have fished less this year than in almost any year of my life. I needed a trip to the water so I snuck in a couple of hours on a favorite stream of mine. I managed 2 fallfish, 3 wild browns, and I missed a couple of trout. Trout were caught nymphing some riffles. One fallfish ate a dry fly and one fallfish ate a woolly bugger. Honestly, the fallfish both fought better than the browns. I've always enjoyed catching them. As I was leaving at about 1:15 pm the rain started. At the time of writing this my rain gauge at home reads nearly 4 inches. We certainly got some much needed precipitation. Here are a few quick pics.

Love that stream! And those are some healthy looking browns.

If this is where I think it is, I really wish they'd stop stocking that place.

I think this is one of the first streams my grandfather ever took me to based on the fifth image which looks super familiar. Great memories, wish he was still here to fish with me. Gotta rediscover the location if its where I am thinking of.

Some nice looking browns there, Jifigz. I agree about some of those fallfish too. A couple have gotten me excited until they get close enough to see them as not trout, still fun to catch.
