Gartside's Secret Stuff

Hi all,
I just received an order of this stuff and was wondering if anybody has an experience with it. What flies do you tie with it? Other than the few flies on the web page, I can not seem to find many other ties.
It is interesting stuff.

Jack has several books published on using it; I've never seen it but always assumed it was extremely similar to the clear "ice dub."

Cut it up and use it as dubbing, mix it, use it full length like a fur, or instead of flash, etc?

Look at the flies you tie, then imagine where it would work as a subsitute or enhancer for the material you normally use.

Jim Misiura's GSS emergers (videos above) are dynamite on the Lackawanna. He also ties a streamer with it.

Tie GSS minnows with that stuff. Applying head cement to that stuff will slightly melt it. Makes a darn good minnie! I met Jack at the FF show in NJ years ago.
