I love living in the Poconos. I watched a pile of turkeys in my yard this morning and since its that time of year, one of the males was chasing a female around wanting to get his business done. He finally caught her and after a few minutes he let he go and she got up to shake it off. I was watching her shake and saw a few feathers fly sooooooo, of course I had to go look for them.
Gonna tie up some fresh wooly buggers and use these for the tails. 3 of the 4 feathers are gonna work perfect for a bugger tail and I will find something else to tie with the bigger one. Guess whats gonna be my 1st fly tomorrow morning for the season opener?
