Fred Reese's Shop

I was tying last night using dubbing from Fred Reese's shop in Avis. I picked this up over 15 years ago. Made me curious if he has closed up? If so, how long ago? I used to frequent that shop while going to and from college.

His shop is no longer in business. I'm not sure but at least 7 or 8 years would be my guess.

That's what I figured. Some of his dubbing blends were really good.

Phil Baldochino 's fly shop up on Kettle Creek has great dubbing. I think it was blended by Fred Reese. I was there two years ago and he still had the dubbings available.

Thanks for the offer. Not looking right now. I still have quite a bit left. I was just curious if he was still open or not. Can you still get the squirrel blend?
