Forbes Trail Banquet,

Heading with some buddies to the TU banquet. Anyone else going? Maybe I can get to meet some of you guys there. I think it is at Latrobe Legion Hall.

I am not much of a betting man nor I am lucky so at least I can cheer when everyone one else at the table wins something.

Then by all means go and buy some raffle tickets! The whole idea of these things is to get ripped off for a good cause. My chapter breaks even on the meal, so just showing up isn't helping quite as much as you might hope (although it sure is disheartening to see a half empty room).

BTW - where is the Forbes Trail chapter? What streams do they protect and restore?

My fishing buddies are in this chapter and I am always out that way. About an hour from my home so no meetings for me yet.

I did help out for a day on the Mill Creek project. Lots dirt spreading,seeding and haying on the landowners property.
(area where Hanna's Run enters Mill Creek)

Planning on helping out with a couple stream clean-ups this year.

I don't recall. I'm sure there were pictures taken that day though.

Do remember it was sunny and 90 that day.

I was there between 9 and 10 am on one of those saturdays shooting video...I should really edit that and give it to them one of these days...I do remember wet wading in Tevas so it was warm but I don;t remember 90...
