Flyfest2024 is coming to the Catskills
Saturday, February 24th - 9:00 AM Until 3:00 PM
Presented by the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum and hosted by the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild and Trout Unlimited
The venue once again this year is The Rockland House, located at 159 Rockland Road, in Roscoe, NY.
The Rockland House is always a Catskill favorite for their hospitality and wonderful food. The kitchen will be open for lunch. Bring your appetites and help us thank them for their gracious support of this event.
Many talented Catskill fly Tyers will be present and demonstrating their skills, answering questions and sharing ideas, patterns and techniques! All fly tyersare welcome to attend and tie flies.
Tyers should pre-register via the Museum website at www.cffcm.com.Click on Events and then on the Flyfest banner, then Buy Tickets. Adult admission is $10, kids 12 and under are free. Fly tyers may also register by emailing Todd Spire the Museum Program and Events Coordinator (tspire@cffcm.com).
The Museum will have a selection of fly tying materials and goodies available for sale.
The Catskill Fly Tyers Guild has arranged to have a selection of dry fly hackle capes from Collins Hackle Farm available for sale. Charlie Collins has bred and produced some of the finest dry fly hackle available and we are very grateful to him for allowing us to make these beautiful capes available to the fly tyers and guests who attend this year's Flyfest!
