There are several outstanding tyers in this area. If you haven;t met him, Google Kieran Frye for starters. When I met him he had just won some kind of world champions ship held somewhere in Scandinavia.

Al Edinger that won the Amatuer division is one of my TU members and his son who was in the contest with him won second place in the youth division :-D

Won the state contest three years in a row and took 6 gold medals in the Mustad scandinavian contest. Contest tying is a whole new ball game. Not for everybody but can be fun.
