Fly rod and reel were lost Friday night 6/5/20. They were found down stream about 1/3 mile, last night 6/8/20. Water flows the evening lost were around 780 cfs. We had posted signs in area and fly fisherman had found and called. A great ending to a very unfortunate situation.
A different angler recovered wading staff yesterday, 6/8/20, which was recovered in the area dropped ... same location where rod went in.
A big thanks to both fly fisherman who made the recoveries. Thank you.
