would like to do some fly fishing on brokenstraw creek this weekend what kind and flies should I use this time of year? I;m new and just learning how to fly fish. I believe nymphing is going to be what I like to do. is there any nymph's I can use this time of year? if so what and what size?

This probably belongs in another forum. But since I am here now, I would say that nymphs of all species that hatch on the waterway are present in the stream now. Those that would be most active would be those getting ready to hatch, which may mean "none" this time of year. I would drift generic patterns like pheasant tail or hare's ear, with enough weight to occasionally tick the bottom.

I may move this to beginners forum or general forum-- your choice.
