Fly fishing without a rod

Hi guys,

Has anyone here seen the video of the guy fishing for native brookies using his hands to cast the fly line (no rod)? It came up in conversation with a fishing buddy today and I couldn't find it. Thought it had been posted on PAFF before.

Yes! I know exactly what you are talking about! I love that video, and I thought I was the only one that looked stuff up like that. I spent all day and can't seem to find it. I googled every possible thing. I'll find it eventually.

Looks beyond tiring to me.. The video you are referencing might have shown up in a Tenkara thread.

Or I sort of hazily remember there being a video of Kurt Thomas (I believe) doing this.

Although one of the reasons you just found it is because it was published this past Friday. I think the original posting of it (wherever that may have been) was taken down.
