Fly Casting Competition Rule Change for 2014

I just received clarification that there is a rule change on fly lines for the comp. There will be no lines which are a line-and-a-half weight (150 grains) permitted in the competition. That means no Sci Anglers GPX or Cortland Platinum Trout (that's not the Trout Boss) or any equivalent line. The RIO Gold, which is listed as 146 grains, does meet the criteria of 140 + or - 6 grains.

In all seriousness, as Gfen would go on, and on, and on, and on about grain weight is the answer, not what manufacturers "rate" their lines and/or rods.
