Flextec

Anyone ever purchase a Flextec Rod from the UK...the prices look good even with the exchange rate...they have a team in the world fishing competitions...but that doesn't mean anything...

I found their rods on EBAY...

I've been looking and bidding on those for weeks.... you're probably the one that keeps driving my price up on me!!!!!


I've been looking for a 9/10 rod for salmon and figure if I can get one for around $50-60 and break it, who cares. I bid on a bunch, even some 7wts as another steelhead rod, and keep just barely getting beat out. Ohh well. I don't know the quality of the rod, but I've been looking at them for a while now.

I however am going to go another way on my salmon rod though. The price is nice, and it has a warranty!

Junk, in my experience. But at least they stand behind it.

My friend has had major breakage problems.

The flextec is junk or the wildwater?

If it's the flextec, then does it have a warranty? I don't see anything on the site that says so.

And they keep returning it or offering to make good. It just keeps breaking.
