Has anyone tried Flex Seal for leaky waders?

maybe the new flex seal tape ?

I have a buddy who sprayed the inside of his waders with it (mainly because they were beyond typical pinhole repair). It worked, but the waders are a little stiff and no longer breathable. My advice: Stick with aqua seal and patches, if they are that bad, it might be time for a new pair.

I replaced the bottom of my boat with a screen door - sprayed it with flex seal. And continue to use it today!!:)

When that stuff first came out, my uncle tried spraying it over leaking parts of his waders. It didn't stick properly and it started to flake off.

If aqua seal doesn't work then it's just time for a new pair

I sprayed the inside of my old simms gortex pair like Kosmer said it worked but they became stiff and not breathable.

I don't think it would hurt to try Nikwax Tentproof waterproofing. It's a spray on. Not really what you want for seams, but for fabric seepage, it might be worth a try.

Nikwax is amazing.

Always turn your waders inside out after use to dry them. Mold and bacteria like to eat the waterproofing.
