I saw a reference to one of the PLines, repurposing it from spinning reel fodder to tippet. So being a cheapskate, I was surfing Cabela's and BPS, and was amazed to see a whole bunch of different lines of lines.

So does anyone have any insight on which flavor would do the deed for dries? I'm thinking the 2lb test would be ok for dries since such fine diameters depend more on surface tension than polymer density for flotation.

There used to be an awesome Pline, but they stopped making it. It was a fleuro line that I used back in my spin days.

Talk to a float fisherman or center pinner that knows his stuff, and he might have some info on these lines. Tilt may have some experience with it.

I pin, but it is really still in the poke and hope phase for me, so I really can't help directly.

PLine Halo flourocarbon mist green 4lb. is awesome tippet material!
