Brand new to Flyfishing.
Looking for a spot around Pittsburgh to fish this weekend.
Any suggestion?

Neshannock Creek.

As always in the winter, check the weather. If it's real cold, forget about flyfishing.

Fishing this weekend? Ice fishing? There are a lot of threads on here about fly fishing opportunities near Pittsburgh. Bottom line - some local stocked streams in Allegheny County with special reg areas that might be wothwhile in winter but most folks head East towards the Laurel Mountains or north to Slippery Rock or Neshannock.

You have steelhead in Erie but expect those streams are pretty well frozen over.

Neshannock is icing up as well as Slippery Rock, Buffallo, etc. etc. cold

Pine Creek dhalo is nearest.

Bring a greenish nymph or egg and have your 2015 license.
