this will be my first time there. not sure what to use or expect. would any of these size 18's work? http://www.pafishing.net/forum/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=27&size=big&cat=505

Mute,
Some of them might work. #18 & #20 BH Pheasant tails and Baetis nymphs have been working very well for me. These are what I was using last Saturday and I caught 3 and missed a few in about 2-1/2 hours. If you are tying some flies tonight, I'd recommend tying a few Baetis in #18 and #20.

Good luck and let us know how you do.

Last time I was there, this month ,egg patterns and chamious worms were working. Fish them on the bottom.

Use the small beadheads. Look like brassies to me. Even the one without the bead on the far right. drift them on the bottom real slow and suspended if the fish are.

Keep in mind I have never fished the little lehigh but trouts are trouts...stop at the shop and ask them which to use...and buy a few they suggest. Be interesting to hear what they say.

doesnt look like you have much but asking them about nymphs would prove useful.

Use the black stuff, there are loads of black stones available this time of the year in sizes 14 and 18. Stop by the fly shop and get a couple of Don Douple's sculpin. You'll catch fish.

When I was there last week in similar conditions I grabbed a few on size 20 BWO dries. I got fish on an emerger, a parachute & a Comparadun.

There was a subtle hatch going on at the time with the flies popping off every time the sun peeked out from the clouds. FYI air temp was in the 20's water temp was 50.
