I proposed a theory the past few days. The first day of trout in my area is this saturday. The weather is going to be crappy for about a week all around the first weekend. Do you think this will deter the worm chuckers and the guys who get their 3-4 limits the first day? I sure hope so, because if there are less fishermen out the first weekend, that means less trout taken, and more trout for me! I think that a bad weather opening weekend will leave more trout out there for the rest of the season. But, just in theory.
