Fiberglass setup

I am looking to get a fiberglass rod and line to do some dry fly and terrestrial fishing on small streams. Just wondering what rod and line you would recommend or have used. The line size I would like to try is 4wt and rod length around 7'. I am new to the fiberglass world so any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Yo fw - in general, the modern glass sticks that are 4wt are 7 to 7 1/2 ft. Any longer or shorter tends to be more specialized. Cabela's, which is often on sale with their CGRs, are best buys. But there are a mess of great glass rods with wonderful trouting attributes. As for line brand, I've used dozens of brands, and they are all usable. You can always fine tune the systems by just modding the leaders and butts.

and as a beater,leave in the car rod,an eagle claw 6'6" 3/4wt rod could be fun.
