Hi all, New to the forum here.

Just back in PA and I'm planning to hit the Breeches right away. Can anybody offer tying recommendations for this time of year?

Wooly Bugs, scuds, san juan worms, midges, pheasant tail/hare's ear(size 16). With the mild winter, there will be a few surprises too.

I would even recommend going smaller on the pheasant tail. Try something in the 18 - 20 range and possibly olive in color.

What they said above, esp. scuds and midges. I'd also add some sucker spawn.

Thanks for the responses. Got a couple hits on an olive bugger with a bead. Creek seems a bit dry at the moment. Thanks the Responses. Glad to be a member.

SFletch: I went on Wed and got 3 Brookies on a pheasant tail nymph, size 14 and with a gold bead head. I also caught a very
nice rainbow on a size 16 (or 18, I forget), white and yellow spider.

Good Luck!
