Hey all,

I am planning to take a trip to fish Falling Spring, near Chambersburg this weekend. I am from the Allentown area and I have never fished the stream. I'm wondering if anyone has fished there recently, if so, how was it? I'm planning on fishing in the Heritage Angling stretch, any information would be helpful.

Thanks

FS is fishing well in the Heritage section. I can't say whether the tricos are still coming off since it's been two weeks since I have been there - but they should be. Fish before 9:30am for the tricos. The upper section of the Heritage water - commonly known as the "greenway section," sometimes doesn't see as many tricos as the lower areas. The tall grass is loaded with hoppers and scuds produce fish year round, esp where there's some current.
Good luck!

Thanks for the response and info. I'll probably get there when the trico hatch is winding down. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
