Will they do a fall stocking this year? Or cancelled due to COVID?

From what I've read, they will, but they wont be providing any details on where and when just like the spring. Of course, fall stocking is fairly limited these days and I'm sure if you know a stream that regularly gets stocked in the fall, it will probably be stocked this fall at some point.

that's exactly what fish and boat just told me.

Linked below is an article with details (or lack thereof) about trout stocking this fall >

Looks like they have published the fall stocking schedule.
Press Release:

Direct link to the schedule:

They tell us the week of the stocking, but not the specific day.

Thank you.

Anybody have an idea of what they'll do with the fish if it's too low to stock them?

In the past, I have seen situations where the fish just ended up being placed where conditions were better as in a different stream or a lake versus a unsuitable stream.

Or, they were all dumped in the deepest hole versus a few holes in the designated stream.

I don't know what the current "official" policy is...

I would hope it's a lake. 20 fish in a deep hole with little food does not bode well.

The resident heron begs to differ
