Fall fishing question

I have a day off and was wondering if bass might still be biting in the Swatty or the river? Want to get out to fish

Yeah if your after bass... I'd go to the mainstem, swatty fish either drop back or lay low this time of the year.

Stay close to the mouth and you will probably have greater success, afternoons are the best time now.
