Yep, that seems right. There are still some steelies in the tribs right now. Some will be there until mid May I believe.

The Catt for sure

I have a buddy who always fishes the Erie PA tribs for opening day of trout (usually mid April). From what I hear the fish hang around untill the water temp reaches a magic number, then Poof!

better watch it Gulf--- water temp and lake run fish touchy subject..

I was just surprised to see Erie Pics. on a Mako boat site .
Magic Temps. it seems that 70 is it here in the salt. I know Moose has wanted me to go to NY in March for the dropback brown fishing. Never made it so far? GG

well-drop backs a little leaner than move uppers but still fun ..

yup latest for me is 1st week of June during a cold spring. Guys at work have been targeting small mouth(+19") and have been picking up a few every evening

With this cold spell, they should hang around a little longer. Chance of snow on Sunday. At least that is the case a half hour south of the lake.

I don't want to hear it Art.;-)
