Epic fiberglass rod Kits ?

Anyone try building one of these kits from Epic, or fishing one. I've had my eye on the 580 and the 686. Pretty cool looking blank colors too, on these rods.

I really like my Cabela's CGR 7/8 and 4 weights. But I've these blanks are faster glass I'm lookin for something in the sweet spot for bass and trout.

I didn't build them, but I have both rods and they are excellent.

Love the 7/8, love the 6'6" #4 and I even like the 7ft. #5 in that series, but the 7'6" #5/6 feels a little weak to me. It just feels like a whippy #5 weight.

I feel like there's a gap there and I need a midweight powerhouse with a bit more backbone and a bit more length. Not so much as my 7/8 or my Fenwick FF85 but just a good all around rod I could fish just about anywhere. Not too big and yet not too light for any job.
