i am looking into buying a 5/6 wt echo 2 fly rod any inputs before i buy one

I had an echo classic 3 wt - I loved it. I sold it to make room for rods that I was building. But I had no complains about it.

I own several echo rods including a 7wt echo 2. it's my primary smallmouth/steelhead rod. i very much enjoy the action and casting ability of this rod. as with everything go out and try it in comparison to other rods in it's price range and decide for yourself. i wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone though. it's always nice having 2 tips also, just in case.

Have the 9 foot 5 weight and love it I also have the 8 foot 4 and love it as well you can't go wrong. Both Echo 2

i have a echo carbon 4wt that i absolutely love for smaller streams and casting dry flies.

I have a 4 piece echo carbon 2 weight, very accurate and overall a great rod. I made a clumsy move and broke one section, and the makers were very helpful.
