easy stonefly nymph

I'm looking for an easy pattern...like hares ear easy. I've tied hares ear nymphs in black and have had success, but would like to take it a step further by adding that bulky wing case that stoneflys have. Seen it done with thin skin, turkey, and swiss straw. How do you guys tie stone wing cases?

You probably can't get much more simple or much more effective for a basic stonefly nymph than the Montana nymph.

That's the nice part about stoneflies...you don't have to remember to tie in the case before you tie in the thorax. Just tie it in behind the head.
