Dying deer hair

So I gave it a shot. The permanent markers for a deer hair fry just don't look that great and for the price they are the same. Figure I give it a try but now the problem is that the dying process wasn't that hard but now to learn how to tie with two colors of deer hair. It is a pain. Glad I already know how to tie deer hair but gotta practice keeping the two separate.

If you are going for a dark on top/light on bottom look, tie the white in first, flare it, then tie the black clump right on top of the flared white. You don't necessarily have to tie them both in at the same time in one clump.

Also, make sure you comb out all the soft, wooly fur out of the deer hair prior to tying it in. everything will just work easier that way.
