Dry Chapped Fingers..Hand Lotion & Fly Tying

Requesting suggestions for best hand lotion to use IMMEDIATELY before tying.

Probably like many, my fingers get pretty dry, raw & chapped, making basics like pinch wrap kinda snaggy.

Concerned that " any " lotion would transfer unwanted scent, oils and create just another problem.

Figure there has some good solutions out there.

I use some petroleum jelly which also helps to heal my hands too.

Vaseline lotion that is petroleum jelly based is great. Effective and long lasting and inexpensive to boot.
