My SW club has been doing a Friday night Zoom Fly Tying meeting for the past. I can't set up so I can tie using my PC's camera, so I've been tying flies in advance and using them as my Zoom background. Everybody was tying a different fly, chewing the fat and having a beer, glass of wine etc. The guys would talk about the flies they were tying. It's fun and I picked up a couple of new patterns. A different approach this year. The host is sending out a pattern or two with a list of materials and will be watching a video on how to tie it, and then those who can set to tie on Zoom will tie and we'll discuss it. The first pattern for tonight is the Double Mop fly, the second is another mop pattern called the Creature Fly. These are two I tied up for my Zoom background. I'm just trying to figure out how to tie a nightcrawler size Double Mop.
