Delaware Estuary striped bass pop assessment report: May, 2013 electrofishing

Below is a link to the newly released web report on the Fisheries Management Area 6's 2013 Delaware Estuary striped bass spawning stock assessment and tagging. Note that we had an average year, suggesting an average run. The PFBC is required to do this work by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) and my crew and I have been doing it annually since 1994. We have handled circa 8,000 striped bass during that time period and tagged 4,216 that were 16 inches long and longer. Not all fish of that size were tagged by us, however.
