Cocalico/Conestoga

I have been wanting to get out and fish the lower Cocalico and Conestoga near where Lititz Run dumps in. Does anyone have any experience on these areas? I was out for a bike ride with my boys on the Ephrata to Lititz Rail trail. Kind of cool to look off the bridge and see fish on the Cocalico. This looked like a nice stretch. A few fish up in the water column sure looked like trout. Not sure if smallies do that. If I get out this weekend I will post a report.

I've caught smallmouth and carp in the Conestoga not very far below there. I once caught a carp on a mulberry in that area.

BTW, there are 3 covered bridges near there. Two of them, the Pinetown bridge and the Hunsecker bridge, both washed away in the Hurricane Agnes flood, but were replaced.
