gotten new silver label riverguard waders for christmas, and boy are they warm. but walking down to a stream this morn and fell through some ice into some thick mud. anyone wanna give me tips on how to clean mud and dirt off?-kevin

hose and light sponge.

in the summer, once a year usually, I wash in the machine. cold water (never hot) with powder detergent. NO fabric softner. put on gentle cycle and tuck suspenders so they do not tangle. let dry outside, then flip to the other side to dry out.

There's also this stuff:

Ya, I was going to say water, but figured that was too smart arse. Put the waders on, walk into stream, kill two birds with one stone.

IMO I would wait as long as possible before starting the machine wash / revivex routine.

Here is Simms suggested wash/care suggestions.

This was just in the last issue of Midcurrent. Some else asked about washing breathable waders.

LOL. They say "That said, most manufacturers call for hand-washing your waders" then attach this photo to the report.
